I'm Ahmed Alparslan Özdemir. I build companies and watch them die. Three times so far. Some people collect stamps, I collect lessons learned the hard way.

Currently on startup #4 — AI vision systems and physical access control. It's got AI, computer vision, electronics, and an unreasonable amount of optimism. Investors love the phrase "this time is different" and honestly, so do I.

When I'm not busy ignoring red flags in my business plans, I write code. TypeScript, Rust, Go, C++, PHP, Dart, Flutter — basically anything that compiles (and some things that don't). Graphics programming, game dev, DIY electronics, and systems programming keep me sane. Or insane. The line is blurry.

Interests: P2P systems, decentralization, AI/ML, and convincing myself that the next pivot will be the last one. I ship working software and learn from failures — got plenty of material for the second part.
